Rigid-Flex printplaten are boards using a combination of flexible and rigid board technologies in an application.

De juiste toepassing van Rigid-Flex-printplaten biedt optimale oplossingen voor moeilijke, beperkte ruimteomstandigheden. Deze technologie biedt de mogelijkheid van een veilige verbinding van apparaatcomponenten met zekerheid van polariteit en contactstabiliteit, evenals een vermindering van stekker- en connectorcomponenten.

Bijkomende voordelen van Rigid-Flex-printplaten zijn dynamische en mechanische stabiliteit, de resulterende driedimensionale ontwerpvrijheid, vereenvoudigde installatie, ruimtebesparing en het behoud van uniforme elektrische eigenschappen.
